Neurotoxins

There are 4 types of Neurotoxins (actually 5, with the latest being FDA approved 8/2022) - I am offering 3 at this time, Jeuveau, Xeomin, & Dysport.

Neurotoxins are responsible for blocking nerve impulse which ‘paralyzes’ the muscle. This is what helps to relieve wrinkles in the face by presenting a smoother version of skin as the muscle is now relaxed. Neurotoxins are typically used to treat the upper face in areas such as frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and crows feet. Other areas that can be addressed are “necklace lines,” jawline contouring, masseter muscles, chinulite, gummy smiles, and lip flips.

It can take up to two weeks to see full results, these results last between 3-4 months and then need repeated

Dermal Fillers

There are various dermal fillers for cheek, lip, chin, and jawline augmentations. The fillers current utilized are Radiesse and Versa, with Restylane coming soon.

Dermal filler helps to restore volume lost from the aging process and even stimulate collagen production. This helps correct facial wrinkles, folds and fine lines on the lower part of your face. Not to mention create some beautiful LIPS by filling out the area with filler!

Depending on which lip filler you use, results can last from 6 months to 1 year. Cheek fillers can last up to 18 months.

Microneedling

The Rejuvapen Nxt is the most advanced FDA cleared medical grade micro-needling pen.

Micro-needling helps to firm the skin and regain elasticity creating a younger look. Fine lines and wrinkles are reduced, pores become finer, circulation is stimulated, and the overall quality of skin is improved! Micro- needling also treats acne scarring, stretch marks, enlarged pores, surgical and burn scars, and helps to tighten skin on most body areas.

Skin may feel warmer and tighter than normal post procedure, it's also normal to have a moderate to severe sunburn. Results takes approximately 4 months to see sometimes sooner depending on the client

Avoid unprotected sun exposure 2 weeks prior to treatment, along with post-treatment.

At minimum, three sessions are recommended 4-6 weeks apart with “as needed” maintenance thereafter.

Prescription Weight Loss Injections

Semaglutide - GLP-1 Agonist weekly sub-q injections - FDA approved for obesity management

Semaglutide is an FDA-approved weight loss injection. By mimicking a hormone in the body, Semaglutide increases insulin secretion while slowing down how fast your stomach empties food. This suppresses your appetite, so you feel full longer, helping you eat less and lose weight.

The drug was initially approved in 2017 at a lower dose to help control blood sugar in Type 2 diabetes. People taking Semaglutide for blood sugar control lose weight as an additional benefit. After studying a higher amount of the medication in people without Type 2 diabetes, the FDA approved Semaglutide for weight loss in qualified adults.

How does Semaglutide work for weight loss?

Semaglutide mimics a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (or GLP-1) that targets areas in the brain that regulate appetite and food intake. Your digestive tract releases this incretin hormone after you’ve eaten a meal, lowering your blood sugar by triggering insulin release to block sugar production. Doing so helps you eat less and lose one to two pounds per week. And while a reduced-calorie meal plan increases the rate at which you lose and keep off weight, dieting is not required to lose weight on Semaglutide.

Am I a candidate for Semaglutide weight loss injections?

To determine whether you are a good candidate for weight loss with Semaglutide injections, Vanessa McConnell, APRN, DNP, FNP-C, will assess the extent of your being overweight. Adults can use Semaglutide with a body mass index (or BMI) greater than or equal to 30. Alternatively, you may be a candidate for Semaglutide weight loss if your BMI is 27 and you have at least one of the following weight-related conditions:

Sclerotherapy

A medication called, Asclera, is used to inject superficial spider veins. These injections work by scarring the varicose or spider vein so blood is rerouted to a healthier vein.

Veins tend to fade within a few weeks to a month and sometimes several treatments are needed.

Kybella

This injection is given in 2-3 treatments spaced at least 2 months apart. Kybella is a prescription medicine typically used to break down moderate to severe fat under the chin. Treatment takes about 20 minutes and the most common side effects include areas of hardness, slight redness, bruising, swelling or numbness after treatment. These side effects resolve themselves naturally!

Many patients see results after 2-4 treatments, but many individuals require 6 treatments for best results.
